Let’s Misbehave is a tribute to the excitement of the Roaring Twenties and the glamour of the 1930s. It puts the brilliance of Alex Mendham & His Orchestra front and centre — from driving, high-energy showpieces to smooth late-night ballads — all led by Mendham’s vocal artistry and instinct for assembling the perfect musicians for the job.
 
Much of the material for this special project was chosen directly by the fans, based on the songs that sparked the strongest reactions at live shows. That’s what gives the album its edge — it isn’t nostalgic, it’s built on what still captivates an audience.
 
In a digital age of swipe-right playlists and driverless taxis, people are craving something real. They want to feel the ground move beneath their feet from the thunder of a full big band tearing into Sing, Sing, Sing — and hear genuine, raw emotion in the lyrics of Stardust.
 
There are no filters or studio tricks at play. Just real rhythm, real brass, real musicians. This music doesn’t need reinventing — only a band bold enough to play it with conviction. And this is that band: a world-class orchestra whose sound has thrilled audiences, from London to Los Angeles and across the Atlantic — with huge thanks to those who continue to make it all possible.
